The facilities are located in the beautiful valley Jonkershoek (near Stellenbosch) which is part of the World Heritage Site.

There is a clubhouse which we use for functions and a camping site which can be used by paid up members (including their friends and families).

Please book all camping visits ahead by completing the form below or via WhatsApp to Patricia on 0835482530. For groups larger than 12 Pax, please contact us in advance.

Please do not feed the baboons that sometimes come around to visit – never leave food or bins unattended.

Rules and Regulations of Jonkershoek
  1. The day-visiting area is a no car zone, offload goods only and use the allocated parking area for your car.
  2. No littering: Please remove all your rubbish from the premises when leaving and make sure all fires are extinguished.
  3. No nails or screws into trees! Rather use a rope.
  4. Don’t use tables or fireplaces to chop wood on.
  5. No open fires outside provided fireplaces due to high fire hazard.
  6. Smokers, please throw cigarette stumps in fireplaces or remove with your garbage (fire hazard).
  7. No bonfires in braai’s! Use the big open fireplaces provided.
  8. Please accompany small children to the bathroom to help keep the ablutions clean and tidy.
  9. Keep your pets under control at all time and cleanup after them. It’s your responsibility Ask for permission first to give food to other camper’s dogs.
  10. No loud music! Keep noise down after 9pm.
  11. We advise to lock the gate at night.
  12. Please don’t feed the baboons and pack foods away at night and when going out.

Please Take Note

  • Rental of the Duty Cabin is not Available.
  • Donations are welcome: We prefer payments done via eft with your name and camping as reference.
  • For function – day visiting and camping bookings:

  • Please control your pets. Pack food away during your absence. Don’t feed the baboons. Check your pets for ticks after your visit.
  • Keep Jonkershoek clean, remove all garbage when leaving.
